What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

What gets collected

The contact form

If you send a question, I receive your name, your email address, and what you wrote. It goes into the private records I keep for the practice, alongside every other conversation. I read it and I answer it.

The form asks for those three things and nothing else. There is no account to create and no list you are added to.

Booking a call

Scheduling runs through Cal.com. The details you enter to book a call are held by them as the scheduling service, under their privacy terms rather than mine. If you would rather not use it, email me instead and we will find a time between us.

The free tools

Some of the free tools connected to this site ask for your email address before showing your results. When one does, that address and what the tool worked out for you go into the same private records as everything else here, and I use them to send you your results and to follow up personally. Using a tool doesn't put you on a mailing list.

Some tools run entirely in the browser. The Collections Queue reads your QuickBooks aging export in your browser tab. The file is never uploaded, never stored, and never sent anywhere. That page's Content-Security-Policy blocks connections to anything but this site, and it does not run the analytics script the rest of the site uses, so nothing about your file is recorded. The tool's boundary document puts it this way: “The public Tier 0 tool never uploads, transmits, or stores a visitor's file. Processing is local to the browser, enforced by Content-Security-Policy.”

Site analytics

Microsoft Clarity records anonymized usage data while you read: clicks, scrolls, and session replays. I use it to see which parts of the site get read and which get skipped, and that is the only job it has here. It does not run on the Collections Queue page. It tells me about behavior on a page, not about who you are. Clarity is Microsoft's product, so what it records sits with them as well as with me.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps the standard server logs that every web host keeps. Those logs come with running a website. I don't use them for anything else.

What doesn't happen

I don't sell personal information. There are no advertising networks on this site. And you won't get marketing email from me unless you asked for it.

How long it's kept

A question you send is kept as part of ordinary business records, the same way any other client correspondence is kept. If we end up working together, it becomes part of the client record. If we don't, it sits in those records unless you ask me to take it out.
